The popular program that allows the public to watch artists while they create
continues with Burtonwood and Holmes, whose site-specific installation, PRODUCT
Placement, will examine war, commerce and their connection, and will include
a 3/4-size military tank. They will work in the Open Studio August 1 - 25 on
Mondays  - Fridays, noon - 6 pm.  The Open Studio is located in the
vacant storefront in the Page Brothers Building, 177 N. State Street.  Presented
by the Public Art Program of the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs, the
Open Studio Program invites selected artists to work in the space in a series
of month-long residencies. More......
